In the new version, the “Pricing” section has become a primary information block that gives your customers a clear understanding of total costs associated with using your API products.

On the top, Project X shows a summary of all prices included in the product, so that customers instantly see the total amount and billing period.

Conclusion

Your pricing should be simple, so that customers don’t spend a weekend with a calculator, in attempts to understand what it will cost them to use your API.

But at the same time, your pricing should be detailed enough for customers to be able to quickly tell, which subscription plan fits their needs best.

These two points are what makes getting the pricing right hard.
